Future Phenom: Miami Booker T. Washington 19' QB Daniel Richardson


Overtown, FLA. -- Daniel Richardson (5-11, 178) arrived to Booker T. Washington with an unbelievable (56-0) record and four consecutive AYFL championships, as the starting quarterback for Pembroke Pines Optimist. The eight-grader was named a youth All-American and was awarded Generation Nexxt Crowning of the Champions - Top QB prospect and Generation Nexxt's First-team All-South Florida (Pictured below).

During the summer, Richardson earned varsity reps with the Tornadoes 7-on-7 football team and instantly, made an impact. The eight-grader, captured several 7on7 tournament championships, most notable University of Florida and won over his peers.

The dual-threat -- took So. Florida high school football by storm. Richardson led Miami-Dade County in completions (201), passing yards (2,715) and passing touchdowns (33). He also accounted for 512 rushing yards and scored (5) touchdowns. These eye-popping statistics, helped the Tornadoes' captured their four consecutive 4A state title. Richarson was responsible for (38) total touchdowns and (3,227) all-purpose yards last fall.

Richardson fall accomplishments didn't go unrecognized. He was named 4A classification MVP, 4A classification 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Dade County and rated the #3 overall dual-threat quarterback in the country and rated a 4-star according to QBhitlist.com

Richardson is a student of the game and also trains with two of the top quarterback gurus in the country. The future phenom is learning from quarterback gurus: Oliver Bozeman and Ken Mastrole.

Richardson holds two college football offers as of today from in-state schools: FIU and FAU. His offer list, looks to extend with interest from notable programs: Clemson, UNC, NCST, Auburn, UF, FSU, Purdue, UCF. "Clemson is recruiting me the hardest right now. They're the only one, sending me hand written letters." said Richardson.

This off-season, Richardson was invited to the Nike Opening and recently, helped his Tornadoes' captured University of Miami - Mark Richt's 7on7 Tournament championship. He engineered his team to a 7-0 record and threw 38 - touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Richardson could also be chasing history. Considering the numbers he put up as a freshman. If this performance continues the next year seasons. The Tornadoes could make history yet again (41-win streak). Richardson could shattered Miami-Dade County record-holder, Rakeem Cato' career touchdown passes (104) and passing yards (9,411) records.

Richardson is extremely excited with his new weapons on offense this upcoming fall. His skill position, will feature seven student-athletes with D1-FBS offers and three of the fastest track and field athletes in the country.

Richardson sports a 3.6 weighted GPA. This young man, has a bright future. Keep a close eye on his prep career. You could be looking at history in making.
