Pylon 7on7 Day 1 Recap: Florida Fire Top Performers
By Jerry Williamson
Austin-Tindall Regional Park, FL — Florida Fire Unveiled their next wave of superstars as three 57-passenger charter buses invaded Osceola County loaded with eight teams. The 15U capped off the day undefeated. Bartram Trail (FL) 21' QB Santino Marucci, a recent transfer from the Benjamin School (West Palm Beach), is bound for a breakout season. His accuracy and quick release resulted in multiple touchdowns despite a new wide receiver group. QB Alex Law from Miami Central left a great impression. The Benjamin School class of 2024 quarterback Tyler Aronson blew me away with his resilience and leadership against an extremely talented Unsign Preps team. The focal point on offense and defense for Florida Fire 12U squad were wide receiver Jabari Brady (Plantation 12U) and quarterback Lagarioon Wilson (Olympia Titans). The duo connected for multiple touchdowns. St. Thomas Aquinas freshman RB Germani Sands has a bright future. Despite his position at running back during the fall -- his ability to high point balls as well as catching in traffic turned heads left and right. Sands scored six touchdowns and climbed the ladder multiple times out leaping cornerbacks inside the red zone as he erupted the crowd. The freshman foursome at wide receiver that dominated consisted of David Jester, PJ Paulk, Nathaniel "Ray Ray" Joseph, and Adam Moore. Paulk a rising talent led the group with six touchdowns at the 15U division followed by Homestead's David Jester who grabbed everything at the varsity level. The class of 2024 QB Tyler Aronson (6'2", 170) will become at least a 4-star all said and done. When the Fire was trailing against Unsign Preps with less than 13-seconds remaining in the second half, Aronson with the world on his shoulders delivered throwing a deep ball for a touchdown on the first play. Staying in Palm Beach, The Kings Academy freshman QB Will Pritchard (thew four touchdowns) on the following play threw the game-winning extra point pass to wide receiver Brandon Butler from Wellington High School. Palm Beach Wildcats QB Legend Felican, a 12U national champion, played up at the 14U division and impressed his peers and coaches. He's a humble kid and confident. Circle his name! Another name who threw touchdowns was 8th-grader Adrian Posse (6'3", 160) who has the measurables and upside to become a major recruit. The Benjamin School eighth-grade cornerback Guy Edmond was the best defensive middle schooler. Edmond caught three interceptions and helped his 15U team go (3-0) in pool play. Another eighth-grader who stood out was wide receiver Markal Roberson who hauled in 3 TDs. On offense, Florida Fire X featured an entirely new group of wide receivers. Despite the new faces, the pass catchers still blur the competition, scoring nearly every drive. It was more of a group accomplishment rather than one person who stole the show. The house of wide receivers featured Naazir Aiken (Coral Springs, 3 TDs), Kris Fowles (Miami Booker T. Washington), Torrie Cox (Chaminade-Madonna), Adrian Harris (Homestead), Bradley Fowler (Bartram Trail), Chaminade-Madonna sophomore Jaylin Marshall (6'3", 170) and Miami Christian Darin Anderson, as well as Marquis Lymon, are the new waves of talent. Their names will become known eventually; Glades Central safety Jacob Camacho and Miramar Wayne Favors made their share of plays in the secondary. Markevious Brown a product from the Muck, who plays for IMG Academy rerouted wide receivers and made it perfectly clear why he's a 25-plus offer talent. Freshman athlete Kelvin Blount from Champagnat Catholic recorded two interceptions. The Best of the Rest Deangelo Ponds, Chaminade-Madonna Marcus Cooper, Jr., Mcarthur Jaden McCoy, Miramar Kimari Robinson, Monsignor Pace Giovanni Adopte, American
