Surfacing Star - Miami Edison 18' ATH Lamont Finnie Jr.

Miami, FLA. -- Miami Edison football program has six student-athletes with D1-FBS offers, most notably 4-Star LSU commit DB Nadab Joseph. But, the Red Raiders has a star in the making on their roster with ATH Finnie Jr. with early football subdivision offers from Temple and South Florida -- who's maybe the best prospect all said-and-done.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound athlete with 4.5 (40-yard dash) speed timed at Auburn Football Camp -- is certainly the most electrifying unrevealed athlete in Florida this season. The Red Raiders are 3-0 overall, 1-0 in district play due to the efforts of Finnie Jr. who has found the end zone at four different positions. In three games, Finnie Jr. has compiled eye-opening statistics. Playing virtually ten quarters within 3-games, and scoring 11 touchdowns as well as averaging 175 all-purpose yards per game.

Jerry Williamson - Scouting Report

Finnie Jr. is electrifying with the ball in his hands and has a knack for finding the end zone. His game speed is faster than his 4.56 (40-yard) dash reported at Auburn Football Camp.
