So. Florida's Top 10 Running Back Units for the 2016 Season

Rising Stars' Top 10 RB unit list was compiled by individual performances, notable game performances and their team offensive rush average per game through seven games this season. The notable names don't factor into this decision, it's basically what have you done lately concept. The beauty of highlighting the Top 10 RB units is, everyone knows about the High School All-Americans in-waiting such as Nayquan Wright (Carol City), James Cook (Miami Central) and Kenny McIntosh (University School of Nova), but Rising Stars emphasize on emerging stars in South Florida and there's a number of them surfacing as we speak.

Starting the list of emerging stars is Miami Southwest junior running back Te'cory Tutson. He's the No. 5 overall scoring leader in South Florida for Dade & Broward. Miami Northwestern senior running back Kai Henry is the No. 1 rusher in South Florida and why the bulls are (6-1) on the season. Miami Palmetto junior running back Trey Flowers has the Panthers undefeated and ranks No. 23 in South Florida and sports a 3.9 weighted GPA. Next in-line are running backs Miami Central sophomore Willie Davis and Miami Palmetto junior Lennox Howard, both guys are doing an excellent job based on their carry per game and production. The future is bright with freshman sensation -- Don Chaney Jr. (Belen Jesuit), Andre Stringfield (Miami Southwest) and Shemar Paul (Doral Academy).

This is also a great list for incoming freshman next fall to weigh their options if they're a running back as well. This list helps promotes prep athletes, college football coaches and class of 2021 stars of Tomorrow -- narrow their decision.
