Pahokee HS (FL) 20' DE LaTarie Kinsler Jr. records 23-sacks
The Pahokee Blue Devils football program dominated the the early 2000's, capturing five titles within six seasons and sending a number of prospects to the division one ranks.
I see another cycle in the making with both state titles and division one prospects. The blue devils defense features the No. 1 cornerback in the country, Akeem Dent who's a part of class of 2019, but there's another emerging and young star on the roster with size, length, speed and production.
Meet freshman future phenom and edge-rush specialist, LaTarie Kinsler Jr., who passes the eyeball-test and stands 6-foot-4, 190-pounds with sub 4.7/40 speed.
LaTarie, caused (3) force fumbles, (2) fumble recoveries and was responsible for (23) sacks for the 2016 season. Against crosstown rival, Glades Central, he recorded (3) sacks and (5) tackles. His next dominate performance was against (8A classification) Seminole Ridge, registered eye-popping (5) sacks for 29 yards.
Here's a note, the talented freshman only started one game the entire season, and still managed to registered and unbelievable (23) sacks on the season. The first three games of the season unfortunately, went down the drain due to poor camera footage.
LaTarie, takes care of business inside of the classroom as well sporting a 2.8 GPA. University of Florida former pass rush specialist, Alex McCalister and Dante Fowler are two guys he looks up to at his position.
