The 3rd Annual Florida Fire (South) Open Run: Top 10 Performers
The 3rd Annual Florida Fire (South) Open Run -- is the football version of a pick-up game open to outsiders. The showcase over the years have featured both nationally recognized and unheralded recruits. Florida Fire (South) which is a chapter of the nationwide known Florida Fire, is the marquee 7v7 football program located in Miami-Dade Southwest area, that has assisted multiple prospects to power five conference, such as Joshua Ouche (Michigan), Jerron Rollins (Cincinnati), James Sutton (Colorado State), John Raine (FAU) and Tony Gaiter (FIU).
Florida Fire (South) will be well respected at the NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, with this fall incoming freshman: Kemore Gamble (UF commit), Trajan Bandy (UM commit), Shawn Davis (UF commit), C.J. Henderson (4-Star), Nadarius Fagan (Syracuse), Antwan Collier (UCF), Brandon James (FIU), Billy Gibson Jr. (3-Star) and Coemba Jones Jr. (2-Star) just to name a few. Here's an event that gives you the first taste of off-season football action in South Florida and most importantly, allows you to puzzle your recruiting board together with both underclassmen and soon-to-be emerging seniors as well as "cream of the crop" youth football talent.
Pro Style Athletics trainer Raul Sosa and All Hands Camp (Yoe Garcia) who are partners with Florida Fire, has trained a number of college wide receivers this off-season from Ohio St, UF, UM, USC as well as the premier high school and youth prospects in Dade County.
The cornerstone of the showcase was nationally recognized 4-star WRs Mark Pope and Daquris Wiggins (UM commit) from Miami Southridge (FL) high school. Over 100 student-athletes took the field on a Friday afternoon at the site (Richmond-Perrine Giants) Home of the 2016 Pop Warner Division 1 National Champions. Approximately, twenty student-athletes held division one verbal offers and defensively, South Dade HS (FL) cornerback Demetrius "D.J." Ivey Jr., Uni. of Miami (FL) commit was on hand as well to get some work.
OPEN RUN OFFENSIVE TOP PERFORMERS
Class of 2018 Co-Offensive MVP
Christopher Columbus 19' WR Tyler Harrell (6-2, 170)
Starting on the offensive side of the ball, Tyler Harrell stood out among all soon-to-be seniors on offense. The tall-and-rangy wide receiver made countless grabs during both 1v1 and 7v7 sessions. He displayed deceptive speed along with strong hands and crisp route running. He was responsible for four touchdowns (3 receiving/1 kick return) for the 2016 season.

Class of 2018 Co-Offensive MVP
Coral Gables '18 RB/ATH Johnny Ford (5-8, 165)
Johnny was without question the most explosive and fastest athlete at the open run, that displayed a great blend of top-end speed, route running and hands. He sports local offers from FIU and FAU and has returned over five kicks for touchdowns as he enters his senior season. He's a diamond in the ruff in South Florida.

Class of 2019 Co-Offensive MVP
Miami Southridge 19' Antwan Anderson (5-11, 170)
Antwan, a two-year varsity starter, has the size and athleticism to catch colleges attention this off-season. He plays confident and knows how to get open. He's certainly one of the premier athletes for his class, scoring touchdowns at quarterback, wide receiver and is very productive at defensive back.

Class of 2019 Co-Offensive MVP
Christopher Columbus 19' WR Kalani Norris (5-10, 165)
Kalani, who's the younger brother of Western Kentucky WR Nichols Norris, holds an early offer from Temple and is going to make an excellent slot receiver at the next level. His route running is second to none and possesses outstanding hands. WKU, might as well extend him an early offer. He's going to be a ten plus offer recruit all said-and-done.

Class of 2020 Offensive MVP
Miami Southridge 20' WR Emmanuel Belgrave (6-2, 170)
As long as he continues to work hard both on-and-off the field, he will be the next nationally recognized recruit from Miami Southridge. He has the same body mass as (UF early enrollee) Kemore Gamble as a freshman, and is a bit more athletic at this stage. He uses his big frame well and possesses surprising speed along with good hands.

Class of 2022 Youth Offensive MVP
Richmond-Perrine Giants (Jr.Midgets) athlete Michael Jackson earned the youth overall most valuable player. He recently captured the Pop Warner Division 1 National Championship and was featured on Monday Night Football, after his remarkable catch on ESPN. He challenged, and won his share of battles against high school competition. He's the next premier talent in South Florida for the class of 2022.
Miami Killian sophomore QB Cairiq Rackley and Ronald Reagan QB Hector Vargas both stood out among all quarterbacks. Miami Palmetto soon-to-be senior running back Trey Flowers, who sports a 3.9 weighted GPA and rushed for a 1,000 yards this season, displayed impressive athleticism for a 5-foot-9, 195lbs down-hill runner.
OPEN RUN DEFENSIVE TOP PERFORMERS
Class of 2018 Co-Defensive MVP
Christopher Columbus (FL) 18' CB Rashard Jenkins (5-10, 165)
After playing behind 4-Star recruits Trajan Bandy and C.J Henderson, the Explorers could ink yet another D1 cornerback come National Signing Day, who have both benefited from Florida Fire college connections in the beginning of the recruiting process. Rashard arrived unknown and locked down several D1 recruits at wide receiver. He performed exceptionally well during one-on-one's and displayed his versatility playing nickle during 7v7. He reports a 3.1 weighted GPA.

Class of 2018 Co-Defensive MVP
Miami Killian (FL) 18' CB Traquan Butler (5-10, 175)
He's very competitive, most reps among cornerbacks, and displayed very good speed (ran a 200m--22.51) and clocked an electronically timed 4.5/40. His coverage skills and hip movement is top-notch. He lacks ideal size, but makes up for it with elite speed and versatility.

Miami Southridge (FL) 18' CB Herman Jackson (5-11, 175)
The Spartans have the luxury of having a wealth of in-house talent with emerging soon-to-be senior Herman Jackson. He plays bigger and stronger then his listed size. He's a scrappy guy with speed, coverage ability and ball skills. He can play either cornerback or safety. Sports a verbal offer from Temple.

Class of 2019 Defensive MVP
Miami Southridge (FL) 19' CB Christopher McDonald Jr. (5-10, 175)
Christopher will be one of the breakout athletes this off-season despite sporting verbal scholarships from Temple and USF. He was by far, the most well-rounded cornerback at the event. He has SEC type of talent and was named to Rising Stars All-South Florida Freshman Team and started several games for the 8A state champions and had two interceptions. He's the top cornerback in my opinion for both Dade and Broward for the class of 2019.

Class of 2020 Co-Defensive MVP
Coral Gables (FL) 20' CB Marcus Fleming (5-9, 150)
Started three games on varsity this season for the Cavaliers. He was without question the top freshman cornerback and has a bright future. He stands 5-foot-9, but he plays as if he's bigger and he doesn't back down from notable names. He's going to be a future star.
