StruggleNation 7v7 Football Tryouts: Top 5 Performers
High school 7v7 all-star football in South Florida, has grown dramatically over the years, ten teams to be exact, and second-year football program StruggleNation gave the 7v7 all-star world, a run for their money fresh out the gate.
Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Andre Daniels and Offensive Coordinator Andre Ward of StruggleNation looks to continue their momentum entering year two at the helm. Saturday's afternoon at Modello Park, brought out a nice amount of up-and-coming talent at both the high school and youth football ranks, ranging throughout the Southwest Miami-Dade County areas.
As the famous saying goes, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." and Everglades Preparatory sophomore wide receiver Kavon Holmes, who stands at 5-foot-7, 150-pounds stole the show. He's one of the best unknown talents in Dade County, having scored over (30) all-purpose touchdowns and ten interceptions in two seasons.
