The next rising star from South Florida hails from West Palm Beach, Florida. Cardinal Newman HS, Class of 2019 athlete E.J. Jackson, a tall and lengthy prospect, standing a 6-feet, 165-pounds is one of the better unknown defensive playmakers in the tri-county area. The Crusaders two-way standout (running back and rover) and special team tackling machine, has a promising future on the defensive side of the ball playing in the secondary. His hudl displays his strengths: speed, tackling, play recognition and always having a knack for making a play. This off-season, E.J. is displaying his hidden skills, showcasing his coverage (man & zone), ball and play recognition skills, something which his hudl lacked for college football coaches to evaluate his overall game. But, now-a-days, placing your most athletic and best tackler inside the box, is common within defense coordinates adapting to spread offenses with dual-threat quarterbacks.

In addition, E.J performance has been lights out, aiding to Palm Beach Fire 7v7 success, become a Pylon National Qualifier. E.J. is creating turnovers each tournament, picking off five passes (10 interceptions overall) at the War Zone 7v7 Tournament and (blank) at the IMG Tournament. E.J. sports a 3.1 weighted GPA, and was responsible for 74 tackles, 3 fumble recoveries, 2 force fumbles and averaged 23.7 yards per touch offensively.
