Rising Star: Cooper City HS (FL) 18' QB Michael DiLiello, (Florida Fire 7)

The little-known and soon-to-be-senior from Broward County, who stands 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, has proven two things this off-season.1) He has proven, week-in and week-out, that he can play against top tier prospects throughout the state of Florida and 2) seen by many, as a long shot of making Florida Fire 7v7 roster, has shined and made it known, he doesn't fear competition. Michael DiLiello, still awaiting his first verbal offer, despite sporting a 4.46 weighted GPA and 27 ACT, understood the shoes he would have to fufill, as the next man up, for a nationally recognized team, replacing (recent-to-lastest) quarterbacks: Todd Centieno (Temple), Kato Nelson (Akron), Lamar Jackson (Louisville) and Quinton Flowers (USF). Last fall, as the starting quarterback for Cooper City HS, Michael averaged roughly twelve passes per game (operating out of a run-orientated offense), but still amassed 1,349 all-purpose yards and threw 9 touchdowns. As of today, Michael overall record as the starting quarterback stands at (38-3).This past weekend, Michael orchestrated his second consecutive tournament championship. Winning the IMG Regional Championship, as his team went undefeated (10-0) as well as tossing 24 touchdowns. This off-season, Michael has spreaded the wealth, tossing 71 touchdowns to wide receivers Mark Pope (Southridge), Chaii Bland (Miami Central), Daquaris Wiggins (Southridge), Jahani Wright (Champagnat Catholic) and Dante Lang (Boca Raton) as well as engineering several come back victories. The Mastrole Super 7 Quarterback Finalist, is patiently waiting on his first verbal offer as spring football approaches. He's by far, the most impressive unknown prospect, that's delivering as if he held multiple division one offers against well-recognized talent. Make sure to follow his progress this spring college football coaches. Here's a hidden gem, that's locked and loaded for the next level.
