The first segment of South Florida's most underrated prospects -- features four unsung playmakers from Western, Blanche Ely, Pahokee and Everglades Prep.
Here's a group that doesn't lack size nor performance on the gridirion. They're all proven and just needs a college football program to take a chance on them and extend a verbal offer. It's not hard to be overlooked in South Florida. There's ballers everywhere from Homestead to Palm Beach, Florida. Rising Stars will go over and beyond for the hidden gems.
Western HS | 2018 | CB/DB | Teshaun Smith | 6-3, 170
Western high school versatile and long and lengthy secondary athlete, for some odd reason is beyond underrated if that's possible. He's a 2nd team All-State selection that accounted for 722 all-purpose yards on 36 touches. He runs a high 4.5 40-yard dash and registered 2 interceptions, force fumble and 35 tackles.

Blanche Ely HS | 2018 | DT | Te'kauri Woodcock | 6-0, 275
The recent transfer from Piper HS, has quietly, turned in two productive seasons and for some odd reason, he's somewhat of unknown throughout So. Florida. His film speaks for itself and his stat sheet confirms it. The massive interior lineman, caused 23 sacks and 41 TFL's, whick speaks volumes for someone his frame. He plays with a motor and is rarely blocked by one person. He played at middle linebacker as well, displaying impressive athleticism in space.

Pahokee HS | 2019 | ATH | Deante Nelson | 5-10, 160
The 1A state champion -- played free safety, strong safety and linebacker for a stingy defense. He caused 2 force fumbles, 5 interceptions, 4 pass deflections and 34 tackles. His film displays him running step for step with UM's signed and not allowing the big play. He's a diamond in the rough. He can cover, tackle and ran with the best. He sports a 2.8 weighted GPA and competes on the Track and Field 4×400 and 4×800 team.

Everglades Prep | 2018 | ATH | Tevin Charles | 5-10, 160
Perhaps the best two-way unknon senior athlete in South Florida. I watched this young man take over games on both sides of the ball. He led the team in big plays, interceptions and touchdowns. He reminds me Raymond Gage of Keys Gate Charter, who earned first-team All-Dade and was a major sleeper. Just watch his film. Made spectacular catches vs. the national known 7v7 all-star teams for Struggle Nation. Everglades Prep is located in Homestead, FL.
