All-State QB Dehron King Jr. (6'2", 190) has everyone’s attention for 2020

Piper High School (Sunrise, FL) freshman dual-threat quarterback Dehron King Jr., who stands 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, is a physically gifted prospect -- that possesses athleticism and cannon for an arm. The Bengals' All-State Honorable Mention -- can throw the pigskin an eye-popping 72 yards and has the ability to elude or run past defenders, with 4.6-second speed in the 40-yard dash. King Jr., a 3rd Team All-County selection, finished last season with 2,085 all-purpose yards and 26 touchdowns and most importantly, aiding to the Bengals' football program (9-3, 4-1) and advancing to the regional playoffs.

The soon-to-be sophomore was awarded the 2nd Annual Rising Stars' offensive Player of the Year award and named first-team All-South Florida. His recruiting process is picking up, after collecting three Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) verbal offers from University of Florida, Florida Int' University, and Bowling Green. In the season opener against Northeast HS, King Jr., appeared to make a smooth transition from youth to high school, as he scored 7 touchdowns (5 counted) and accounted for 590 all-purpose yards and zero turnovers.

The co-starter for nationally known -- Florida Fire 7v7 All-Stars (Pictured above) can bench press 225-pounds and squat 315-pounds, factoring in his hand-timed 4.6-second 40-yard dash speed and standing 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, makes him eye-candy for college football programs across the country. Expect more D1 FBS verbal offers within the next few weeks. He's currently receiving strong interest by the likes of Uni. of Miami (FL), Uni. of Central Florida, Uni. of South Florida, Wake Forest, Arkansas, South Carolina, FAU, Kentucky, Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt. 

Dehron King Jr. is a name to remember the next three years. He has the physique, talent and arm -- to become a future high school All-American. The gunslinger became one of eight underclassmen throughout the country, to receive a special invite to the Ray Lewis Academy
