Unsung Hollywood Hills' Twin brothers, Johnathan and Johnnie Sampson

Pictured: DB, Johnnie Sampson (#5) and LB Johnathan Sampson (#10) vs. cross-town rival, Nova HS.

Life as a high school football prospect in South Florida, has its pluses and minuses when it comes to college football recruiting. Well, the Spartans' twins accomplishments has certainly gone unrecognized the past three seasons as varsity starters. South Florida has seen their share of talented Div. 1 twin brothers, such as Miami Northwestern's Jarrell & Jermell Weaver (signed to UM) and Miami Southridge' Tremaine & Jermaine McCollum (signed to UF).

The Class-of-2019 Sampson brothers (pictured above)  have the measurable, film, and grades to join the long list of talent twins mentioned before their time. Which is why, University of Cincinnati is on their radar. Both were sent official letters and game tickets.

The twins are long with a solid frame, standing 6-foot-2, that can add an additional 15-to-20 pounds of additional bulk without losing their speed. The Simpson brothers have started at DE, LB, CB, WR, and DB throughout their varsity career, which includes special teams as well.  As freshman, both were two-sport varsity starters. Racking up (7) sacks a piece (led team) and advanced to the state championship in wrestling. The brothers has a combined 395 tackles, 26 sacks, 8 interceptions, and 3 blocked kicks over the past three seasons.

Athlete Johnnie Sampson (#5) stands 6-foot-2, 180-pounds who reportedly clocked an electronically timed 4.58 forty-yard dash at National Preps Showcase. He sports a 2.8 weighted GPA and has recorded 5 career interceptions and caused 3 force fumbles, as well as 1 blocked punt.

This season Johnnie is playing primarily free safety. But, after moving him back into the box this past week versus Nova HS, he was responsible for (9) tackles and (2) sacks at outside linebacker and defensive end.

Athlete Johnathan Sampson, the little bigger brother of Johnnie Sampson, leads his team in solo tackles and big-hits. He stands 6-foot-2, 225-pounds that delivers bone crushing hits. His weighted GPA is a 2.9 and he also, contributes on the offensive side of the ball at tight end.

His versatility stands out. He's a plug in type of player within the box, who possesses Div. 1 ability with size and 4.7 electronically timed speed.

College football coaches across the nation. Being overlooked in South Florida is quite easy, with the bundle of talent from all three counties. From my time interviewing them, they're well-mannered and takes care of business immediately.
