By Jerry Williamson

Mesquite, NV -- After adjusting to a 3 hour time change, 41 degree weather, and travelling approximately 2,525.4 miles. Head coach Chris Mcgonigal and staff, adapted quite well, and blazed the tournament averaging four touchdowns per game on championship Sunday.

Alpha dog and Pembroke Pines C/O 2022 quarterback Taron "Tyger" Dickens, the starter for Florida Fire (Broward), uninterruptedly spreaded the wealth on offense. Dickens frequently, connected with wide receivers Robert Floyd, Jr.Zayan Reese, and Lavar Maine for scores and cat-quick running back Keyshawn Brown. Dickens threw over (30) touchdown passes, and added his second trophy. Florida Fire (Broward), has seized championships on both the southeast and west coast regions of the united states. Dickens has that "it" factor, that can place him in the same breath as undersized and proven gunslingers such as Torey "Scooter" Morrison, Chatarius "Tutu" Atwell, and Torrance Moise. Florida Fire (Broward) freshman backup quarterback Miller Waid of Boca high school delivered a number of first downs and displayed great accuracy.

Wide receivers Vinson Davis III, a class of 2021 prospect at St. Thomas Aquinas and Blanche Ely freshman Robert Floyd, Jr., fueled a deep wide receiver group followed by Blanche Ely, The duo (Davis III & Floyd, Jr.) combined for over 10 touchdowns and made the nine route, look effortlessly, as they torched defensive backs. Youngsters Zaylan Reese and Navar Maine, who are both class of 2022 prospects, scored multiple touchdowns as well. CHAMPIONSHIP GAME MVP

Defensively, Florida Fire (Broward) championship game most valuable player was linebacker Travis Dixon. The class of 2021 product from South Broward, displayed a high football IQ, as he baited quarterbacks into thinking they had open receivers, which later resulted in two interceptions. He's a big athlete that can move for his size.

Free safety James Williams of Monsignor Pace, standing at 6-foot-4, made offensive coordinators question his age. As he picked off 3 passes and spoiled, a number of drives with pass deflections. Williams is a physical specimen that has future high school All-American written all over him. Williams currently holds six Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) scholarship offers. The boundary and intermediate passing areas were locked down by freshman cornerbacks Markevious Brown (Pahokee), Justin Hodges, Keon Lewis, and Antwan Massie (Miami Northwestern). Massie shared the turnover title with James Williams, picking off 3 passes. Hodges displayed the best cover skills. As he locked down a number, of the region's finest wide receivers.

After appearing in a number of games as a freshman, Massie production this spring is phenomenal. He's certainly increasing his stock, as one of the premier cornerbacks for his class in South Florida. Massie was responsible for 3 interceptions. STRONG BLOODLINES

Other playmakers that shined for Florida Fire Broward were Brian Blades II (St. Thomas Aquinas), who's both academically and athletically gifted. If the name rings a bell, yes he comes from a rich bloodline of former Hurricanes. Blades III, displayed great play recognition, resulting in multiple incompletions.

The National Football League (NFL) bloodline continues on a deep roster with notable names such as Frank Gore, Jr. (Coral Gables) and Earl Little, Jr., (Class of 2022) who both contributed on multiple games during crunch time. College football coaches from across the country, this a roster you want to add to your early recruiting boards. This group is filled with playmakers consisting of recruiting classes 2021 and 2022.
