What does Philip Simpson, the defensive coordinator of Miami Southridge, bring to the table for your child?

Pictured: Ground Game Training SIMPSON BACKGROUND Simpson, a 2004 graduated from Miami Southridge, was named Player of the Year by Miami Herald -- and was chosen both first-team All-Dade and All-State, as a senior. Who better to get after the quarterback, then someone who played every position at defensive line, as well as quarterback. Simpson's craft, has impacted, a number of defensive lineman, who weren't praised prospects earlier in their career. Starting the list, is Temple University and retired NFL defensive tackle, Terrance Knighton. THE CRAFT

Pictured: NFL retired DL, Terrance Knighton Knighton, played four seasons in the NFL and appeared in the Super Bowl. The past four seasons, as Southridge defensive line coach, he's responsible for the success of James Head, Jr. (Indiana), Randy Charlton (UCF), DeAndre Johnson (Tennessee), and Dimitri Prophet (FIU).

Pictured: Tennessee Volunteers, DE DeAndre Johnson Simpson groomed both Head, Jr. and Charlton, since the spring of their 9th grade season. Three years later, Head, Jr. would be responsible for over 50 career sacks, and finished top 5 in South Florida in sacks. Furthermore, Charlton, would earned 2nd team All-State and sack opposing quarterbacks, over 40 times.

Pictured: UCF signee, DE Randy Charlton This past season at defensive tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers, Deandre Johnson, would play every game as a freshman and contribute.

Pictured: University of Miami signee, DE Patrick Joyner Outside of Miami Southridge, Simpson has extended his craft, within district play -- with first-team All-Dade selections Jeramy Passmore (holds ten FBS scholarships) and, works one-on-one with University of Miami signee Patrick Joyner. Did you know? Joyner was a Rising Star product, dating back to Keys Gate Charter. Joyner raves about, Philip Simpson training and mentorship. Joyner feels he will be college ready, and contribute for the Hurricanes, this upcoming fall.

After interviewing, Philip Simpson, I realized, every lineman he has personally trained over a long of time, has yet to be redshirted, as an incoming freshman.

Pictured: FIU, LB Dimitry Prophete Simpson's best work was arguably, first-year starter, Dimitry Prophete, a 6 foot, 195 pound defensive tackle. Who would later lead South Florida in sacks with 24. Prophete is now a freshman middle linebacker at Florida International University.

Pictured: Miami Southridge, DL/OLB Marvin Strong Here's another impressive story. This past fall, Marvin Strong (6-0, 205), who never started a varsity game, benefited from the knowledge and craft of Philip Simpson. Strong finished his junior campaign with 14 sacks, ranking top 5 in South Florida. Strong is an intriguing prospect, that possesses skill athleticism, clocking a 4.5 forty-yard dash, and also, made multiple finalist appearances this off-season. Strong, is strong as an ox, combining of 1,105 pounds of power (bench press, squat, power clean). Simpson hands on training -- is sparking the interest, of a variety of pass rush specialist, from all ages. He's certainly, molding undersized and unheralded talent, into productive ball players.
