Senior Sleeper: Palmer Trinity (FL) QB Nico Casares

Casares, a team captain and honor student who sports a 3.1 unweighted GPA and 1210 SAT score, has delivered back-to-back Florida Independent Football Conference championships. The Falcons' signal-caller who offensive system relies on a strong running game, has tossed (23) career touchdowns and accounted for several 200 yard games.
Casares has displayed his mental toughness to compete against the best-of-the-best regardless of playing at the lowest classification in the sunshine state. The little-known talent has out-right earned a spot on a Div. 1 feeder, Florida Fire 7-v-7 football team for the past two seasons. In my opinion, Casares strength is his decision-making along with arm talent. Casares is pinpoint accurate within the intermediate range after watching him in Florida and Nevada. Did you know, Casares threw only one interception the entire off-season, which includes his spring football game where he accounted for 123 passing yards and went 11-for-17 along with one rushing touchdown. Furthermore, Casares has thrown only two career interceptions which sums up his ability to read defenses and find the open wide receiver or running back
