Southwest Miami-Dade County's Top 25 Playmakers (Class of 2023)

By Jerry Williamson

Who are the top class-of-2023 prospects located in Southwest Miami-Dade County areas heading into the 2018 season? The preseason front-runner is none other than Everglades Preparatory Academy all-around athlete (QB, WR, CB, DB, KR, PR) David Jester. As an seventh-grade varsity starter, he accounted for two scores in his high school debut on offense, and was targeted three times not allowing a single reception at cornerback. Jester according to his 247sports recruiting account, is already receiving interest from the University of Miami, which is a no-brainier, standing 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Jester dominated for Florida Fire this off-season and wrapped up his track and field season, ranking Top 10 nationally in the AAU National Championship. Next in-line is Palmetto Raiders (varsity) all-around athlete Stanquan Clark. You can't coach size. He stands 6-foot-1, 175 pounds in growing. He dominated the all-star game and shined at multiple positions. His upside is through the roof. The top offensive lineman is Michael Robleto, who stands 6-foot-3, 265 pounds, from South Miami Grey Ghost (13U). His high school future is already stamped with future D1 scholarships. He certainly passes the eye-ball test. The reigning Pop Warner Div. 1 national championship Jalen Brown is a prospect that can make an impact at four different positions and he's a true three-sport athlete (basketball, track and field, football). His biggest impact will come depending on what high school he attends and how he's used. He's a versatile athlete that shouldn't play on just one side of the ball in my opinion. Amen Mackey is someone who's an intriguing prospect. He's a natural defensive lineman and great football player. But, come the next level, what will he play?

What have you done lately? I measured last season success. So, if you were injured or don't show up in notable games you more than likely, was removed from the list of dropped down a few spots.
