The Raiders extended their 10-game winning streak by upending the Ducks 18-0 in season opener

Three-time Pop Warner national champion head coach Arties Knight of the Palmetto Raiders Jr. Varsity couldn't ask for a better way to start the season opener. The Raiders kick returner Robert Fulmore set the tone early, taking the opening kickoff 85-yards for a touchdown. The Raiders would score two offensive touchdowns during the first half and put the last nail in the coffin during four quarter with a touchdown. Extending their 10-game winning streak, by winning 18-0 at Northwest Ducks park. Raiders running back Levy Miller rushed for over 120 yards and one touchdown. While teammate Robert Fulmore accumulated over 130 yards and one score along with a force fumble to lead the defending Pop Warner Division 1 defending champs in their season opener. The Raiders' offensive line Devorise Johnson, Carlos Junco, Calvin Dewberry, Jr., Coltton Stouffer, Daris Swan, Dwight Garner, Derrick Arguello, and Rashad Lee was responsible for over 175 yards on the ground.
Northwest defensive end Leroy Taylor (#7) anchored the Ducks defensive line, causing havoc within the run and pass game. With less than ten seconds remaining in the second quarter with the Raiders up 6-0, the lead would expand, as running back Levy Miller would burst through an opening and race 78-yards for a touchdown. Leading 12-0 in the forth quarter, the Raiders sealed the deal on a 12-yard misdirection run to wing back Tremonte Underwood. The Ducks had several chances to change the outcome, but turnovers and some bad decisions proved costly. The Ducks three-way athlete Kameron Brantley (#3) excelled on special teams, as he averaged 20-yards per return.
Defensive coordinator Tyrone Kinsey observed his defense tally over ten sacks and zero first downs. The headliners on defense was Amen Mackey (#9) and Artravian Driver (#1), who combined for seven sacks and countless quarterback hurries. Before interior lineman Justin Moon ejection, he caused havoc. Free safety Ahmere Foster and linebackers Bentavoius Mitchell and Rashad Lee stuffed the Ducks runining game. The Raiders defensive front seven stymied the Ducks run game, holding them to minus 26 yards. On the other side, the Raiders’ smash mouth rushing attack produced over 150 yards on the ground.
