QB Furmin Livingston Jr. scores 4 TDs in Money Team's 28-12 victory

By Jerry Williamson The Overtown Tornadoes (Jr. Varsity), better known as the "Money Team" secured the bag this past weekend at Gibson Park racking up four touchdowns before the start of the fourth quarter. Quarterback Furmin Livingston Jr. of the Money Team wowed a jam-packed crowd as he passed for 128 yards and threw three touchdowns along with an additional score on the ground. In the first three offensive possessions of the game, the Ram's offense failed to gain a first down as the money team defensive lineman Roshawn Jones, Felix Ward, Eddie Byrd Jr., and Theandre Ballon caused continues havoc in both the run and pass game.  The first scoring drive of the game was perfectly designed, as the Money Team offensive coordinator Takeary "Smoke" Smith gave the Rams defense the spread offense look, but played smash-mouth football using his dual-threat quarterback Furmin Livingston Jr. running ability to move the ball upfield. After compiling 27-yards on four carries, Livingston Jr. would score on his fifth consecutive run from 1-yards out and the extra point would be good from placekicker Andrew Johnson. The second score of the game would come from sure handed slot receiver Xaiver Irving, as he would haul in a perfectly thrown 12-yard pass from  Furmin Livingston Jr.  At the 7:34 mark during the third quarter slot receiver Xaiver Irving and quarterback Furmin Livingston Jr. would connect once again. This time around for a 17-yard pitch-and-catch score. Irving would end the game with three receptions for 29 yards and two scores. Midway during the second quarter wide receivers Jovan Robinson (36-yard catch) and Patrick Smith would combine for 48-yards in the air to put the rams on the scoreboard after trailing by 16-0. Patrick Smith would use his long frame to box out the money team defender for a touchdown. Goulds' return specialist Issac Brown 82-yard return was the game's longest play. The money team would answered right back the ensuing drive as quarterback Furmin Livingston Jr. would add his third touchdown in the air after scanning the field and finding wide receiver Fabian Scott from 52-yards out on a go route. Less than 3-minutes remaining in the fourth quarter athlete Jovan Robinson of Goulds Rams would score the game's final touchdown from 5-yards out. The most productive player from Goulds Rams regarding yards from scrimmage was Issac Brown, as he finished the game with over 130 all-purpose yards. Linebackers Jaylin West and Alonzo Ward of the money team held the Rams rushing offense to under fifty yards rushing after running back Edward "Speedy" Bandy 43-yard run was called back due to holding. This upcoming weekend, the game of the week will be held at the black hole as the Money Team will face-off against the Pop Warner Div. 1 defending National Champions Palmetto Raiders.
