The first big play of the first quarter took place during second drive as Palmetto Raiders' linebacker Omari Winkfield would drop into zone coverage and make a remarkable interception as he read the eyes of Furmin Livingston Jr. and place the raiders inside the red zone territory after his return.

Running back Levy Miller who's recognized as a speedster, did an excellent job pounding the ball against the Tornadoes stingy defense. Miller would rush for 45-yards in just one drive and set the raiders up to extend their 8-0 lead. However, on the next play at the Tornadoes 1-yard line QB Jalen Brown would mishandled the hand-off resulting in a fumble, which would be scoped up by defensive tackle Eddie Byrd and returned for 43-yards before Raiders' tight end Gabriel hardman chased him down. The Tornadoes didn't drop their heads trailing 8-0 during the second quarter. QB Furmin Livingston Jr. and Xavier Irving would take full advantage of the man-to-man coverage after the raiders miscue. Offensively, the Money Team nor the Raiders offense could establish a balance offensive attack. As the Money Team couldn't put together a running game due to the raiders defensive line, which held the Money Team offense to under 25 yards rushing the entire game.
The secondary play of the Money Team led by Christian Lowry, Andrew Johnson, and Jaylen West shut down the Raiders passing offense.

The raiders double pass (touchdown throw by Robert Fulmore) would translate to a 64-yard score by wide receiver Ahmere Foster. However, flag on the play for block in the back. Foster also stood out on special teams. However, the Money Team cornerback Christian Lowry would put the game away as he intercepted Jalen Brown hail mary pass with seconds remaining erupting the crowd. The atmosphere and game breaking plays is without question argubably the game of the year. This was simply a classic that brought out the city, as both the youth and high school football players from throughout South Florida travelled to the black hole to watch the crosstown rivalry. The Money Team is now in the driving seat of the Jr. Varsity (155lbd.) Division.
