Carswell, Allen, Joesph named Freshman of the Week

Miami Christian (FL) is an unbeaten 2A program that has a promising 8th-grade varsity starter named Nathaniel Joesph who has solid hands and game-changing ability. 

Everglades underclassman football roster is loaded with stars of tomorrow. Alfonzo Allen and Karem Carswell headline the group this week.  DEFENSIVE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Everglades (Miramar, FL) 22' DB Alfonzo Allen 

Note: Allen picked the perfect game to shine under the lights, as he recorded double-digit tackles for the second time this season. Allen recorded 10 solo tackles and 3 tackles for loss vs. unbeaten Plantation.  OFFENSIVE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Everglades (Miramar, FL) 22' RB Kareem Carswell 

Note: For the second consecutive week, the little-big man from Miramar is named the Rising Stars offensive player of the week. Carswell rushed for 127 yards on 18 attempts vs. Plantation.  8TH-GRADE VARSITY STARTER OF THE WEEK

Note: This past weekend against Westminister Academy (5-1) the Victors future phenom caught a screen and dashed for a 55-yard touchdown. Joseph finished the game with 5 catches for 104 yards and 1 receiving TD.  University School, 23' ATH Brandon Inniss
