The Next Rising Stars: Meet Raoul Pierre & Jacob Camacho

By Jerry Williamson

I remember during my 10th-grade year of high school while attending Miami Southridge reading high school football articles as usual and noticed how underclassman wasn't heavily featured and I was going change that. Well, over a decade later, I'm doing just as I said and I'll like to introduce the world to my next Rising Stars meet Raoul Pierre and Jacob Camacho two of the best unknown talents in the state of Florida. Both prospects combined for over 15 career interceptions which is beyond impressive considering they have multiple years of high school eligibility remaining.

FS/CB | Raoul Pierre | Coral Glades

Note: The next highly sought after recruit in South Florida at defensive back who has displayed the best field awareness at free safety is none other than Raoul Pierre. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound product from Broward County is my next Rising Star. His ability to playing center field and read the eyes of opposing quarterbacks is on another level. The beauty of Rising Stars is exploring every single high school annually and finding future stars such as Pierre who is the Ed Reed of his recruiting class. Go watch his film.  DB/ATH | Jacob Camacho | Glades Day

Note: Here's another rising star at defensive back that caught my attention immediately. His film speaks for itself with over 10 career interceptions just as a sophomore. Camacho just has a gift for always being around the ball. The rising talent stands 6-feet, 160-pounds and is a multi-sport star. This small school product without question has D1-FBS talent. Go watch his film.
