Ready to make a Splash: South Florida has 10 Incoming Offensive High School Freshman Destined for Gr

Pictured: Nathaniel "Ray Ray" Joseph

By Jerry Williamson As someone who closely monitors the youth football ranks and also heavily spotlights high school football in South Florida, I've assembled a watch list come fall consisting of playmakers, I strongly believe will make a splash. The names I selected, will start day one or will earn a significant amount of time on varsity and will also make some noise statically.

Furthermore, this particular group of incoming 9th-graders, are playmakers defensive coordinators will have to take seriously, or he's going the distance or driving his offense to the red zone. College football coaches better circle these names on their recruiting boards. The series will continue with ten additional names you should know on defense for this upcoming season.

Pictured: Brandon Inniss (WR/ATH)

Starting the list is a future high school All-American and an eighth grade varsity starter, University School (Ft. Lauderdale, FLA.) ATH Brandon Inniss (6-0, 175). His lastest showing took place at Florida's Very Own Saturday Night Lights Camp, which featured the finest class of 2023 talent throughout the sunshine state. Inniss production on varsity last season, appeared as a senior, racking up over 1,000 yards and several scores. I strongly believe, wide receiver Nathaniel "Ray Ray" Joseph -- can put similar numbers offensively this season just like Brandon Inniss. Ray Ray has matured mentally and physically, despite starting varsity last season and racking up over 500 all-purpose yards and six scores. His route running is perhaps the best in his class in South Florida.

Pictured: Taron "Tyger" Dickens (QB)

The consensus class 6A state champions, Miami Northwestern had a major hole to offensively, which was replacing quarterback Isaiah Velez, who signed to Eastern Kentucky. The Bulls' certainly, added a winner,  in quarterback Taron "Tyger" Dickens.  Tyger height, is no longer 5-foot-7 -- how about a head scratching 5-foot-11. Trust me, he's going to experience youthful moments, but this young man wins everywhere he goes. This off-season, he shined on the varsity division for Defcon 7-on-7 All-Star football team and will be surrounded by weapons at wide receiver and running back. Expect big numbers from this kid.

Pictured: Keywon "Lights Out" Jenkins (QB)

Miami Carol City high-tempo offense is looking to continue its fast pace without four-year varsity starter and record holder, Daniel Richardson, Central Michigan signee. time finding their next signal caller by welcoming the best eighth-grade varsity starter in South Florida this past season named, Keywon Lights Out Jenkins. As an eighth-grader, Jenkins earned Rising Stars' Miami-Dade County 8th-Grade Varsity Offensive Player of the Year. At 5-foot-10 and 157 pounds, he later added additional hardware to his remarkable season, by winning national championships in tackle football and for Florida Fire 7-on-7 All-Star 14U Football Team.

Pictured: Jalen Brown (ATH)

Gulliver Prep is bringing in perhaps the best all-around athlete in the state of Florida for the class of 2023. Meet Jalen Brown, a former dual threat quarterback and cornerback from.Pop Warner Div. 1 back-to-back National Champions, Palmetto Raiders. Brown is the 2nd fastest 100m sprinter in the state of Florida in his recruiting class and here's a note, he picked up his first verbal scholarship from the University of Miami. He's reportedly, standing 6-feet tall and will see time at wide receiver, cornerback, and quarterback this upcoming season. I believe he makes his greatest contribution at wide receiver this season following cornerback.

Pictured: Nathaniel "Ray Ray" Joseph (WR)

Miami Christian wide receiver Nathaniel Ray Ray Joseph is ready to surface this season. Despite scoring over five touchdowns and accumulating over 500 yards from scrimmage. While all eyes are on four-star wide receiver Mark Britt, he's more than capable of taking a simple bubble or out route the distance. Yes, he has home-run speed and the ability to break defenders ankles. Joseph earned MVP accoldes and picked up his first D1 offer. Ray Ray shined this past weekend, winning the Future 5-Star Showcase Top 2023 Offensive MVP presented by the Seal and Generation Nexxt.

Pictured: Jamari Ford (RB)

Next stop, right back to Miami Christian High School. Their class of 2023 with Nathaniel Ray Ray Joseph and Jamari Ford is perhaps the most dangerous players to take a simple play the distance. Ford is best described as trying to catch a rabbit in open space with deceptive strength and speed. Jamari older brother is Johnny Ford, a sophomore running back at UCF that also had the knack for just making plays.

Pictured: Levy "LA" Miller (RB)

Florida Christian shocked the world, by adding the best Southwest Miami-Dade County running back named Levy "LA" Miller, a back-to-back Pop Warner Div. 1 National Champion from the Palmetto Raiders. His vision, speed, and consistency to shine week in and out playing against the cream of the crop is going to upgrade their offense day one on varsity. Miller just like Mark Fletcher has the potential to rush over 1,000 yards as a freshman. Don't be shocked, if Miller leads all freshman running backs in rushing yards and touchdowns.

Pictured: David Jester (WR)

Wide receiver David Jester from Florida City, FL, scored two touchdowns in his first varsity game and later returned to Pop Warner to led his Florida City Razorbacks to the Div. 1 National Championship. Jester is a Rising Star product, that stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 165 pounds. This off-season, the University of Miami extended a verbal offer after watching him in person. He's someone I've been talking about for the longest that can be really special, all said and done.

Pictured: Adam Moore Jr. (WR)

Miami Booker T. Washington wide receiver core is already an impressive group, but how about adding an incoming freshman named Adam Moore Jr. (6-3, 175) with size, speed, and freakish ability to high-point receptions. How good is he? During UCF padded football camp, Moore Jr. picked up his first verbal scholarship consisting of gridiron performance. The Overtown native, instantly caught my attention at wide receiver. It helps, having the Miami-Dade County Offensive Player of the Year at quarterback named Torey "Scooter" Morrison.

Pictured: Mark Flecther (RB)

American Heritage Plantation is home to a freak of nature apart of the class of 2023 named Mark Flecther. This kid is legitimately, 6-foot-1, 195 pounds that holds an early offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide. This kid would have started on a number of high school varsity football teams around the country, as an eighth-grader. Flecther will become the face of the program and will make an instant impact on varsity this upcoming season. I can honestly, see him running for a 1,000 yards this season. In gear, you would probably think he's a senior, but that's just how physically fit this young man is.
